Motorola DTR550 Digital Two Way Radio

The Motorola DTR550 Digital Two-Way Radio offers 900 MHz digital frequency hopping spread spectrum technology (FHSS). It also offers the unique feature of one-to-one calling or group communication. A great feature of the DTR550 is that it uses a seperate set of frequencies different from two-way radios which allows for use without obtaining a license. You can  expect a range of up to 350,000 square feet or 30 floors. The DTR550 meets Military 810 C, D, E, and F specifications for shock, vibration, water, dust and temperature extremes. Some other notable features include caller ID, recent call list (last 20 transmissions), daily alarm, full-graphic backlit display, and much more!

Group calling

Allows users to access up to 20 public and 10 private groups. 

Digital one-to-many call

Allows other DTR radios on same group ID and channel to communicate. 

SMS text messaging

Transmits reception and origination information, as well as time/date stamp.

Gives extra-long battery life—up to 14.5 hours of operation per full charge.
